Accessing Fast ForWord via Safari on an Apple iPad
You can create a shortcut from the login page in Safari by click on the arrow pointing out of a box in the upper right corner. Select send to home screen when prompted.
If you have an iPad, updated to 16.4 or higher – make sure your settings are:
Settings–> Safari –> Request Desktop Website –> All Websites –> turn it ON –> exit it out and launch a fresh new web page.
Older iPads Only
If you have an older iPad but have updated your iOS to 13.1 or higher, please follow the below instructions before logging in:
Go into settings–> Safari –> Request Desktop Website –> All Websites –> turn it off –> exit it out and launch a fresh new web page.
Other Notes
All Fast ForWord programs, including the Reading Progress Indicator assessment and Reading Assistant Plus, are Apple iPad compatible and currently run through the Safari app on the Apple iPad. Fast ForWord will not work on Android tablets or on any phones.
If using an Apple iPad, please use the above link in the Safari App only to access the Fast ForWord programs. If prompted for the “school or district” please type in Gemm Learning and select the first choice.
